Ysabel vs. Isabelle vs. Isabel

When I was a little girl I would also pick Isabel as my pretend name. I always wanted to use it if I had a girl but everyone says it’s overused (and I can’t disagree) would changing the spelling to Ysabel make it any better? I just don’t want her growingup having 10 other Isabel’s in her classroom. Hate for her to be called Isabel S. :-/ Similar names appreciated if you think this one should be off my list. THanks!

I love the name Isabel. It is very common, but it’s so pretty. Here are some similar names in case you’d consider one of those:

Isolde/Yseult (versions of the same name; Isolde is "ihs-SOHL-duh," Yseult is "ees-SULT."
Isadora
Isabeau (ihz-zuh-BO)
Sabella
Sibylla

Isadora... I like! I really like. I can use Issie or Dora as nn. OMG THANK YOU! Definitely going on my list. Can’t wait to share with the hubby.
