I prefer Cindy.
I feel like Sydney is more of a 1990’s name while Cindy on the other hand is vintage enough that I could actually see it making a comeback.It’s a very sweet name!

I like Sydney better than Cindy, but Cindy is a nickname for Cynthia, which I think is gorgeous and so underused. Not a huge fan of Cindy on it’s own, but as a nn for Cynthia, I definitely prefer it over Sydney.
