Hayes vs. Haze vs. & middle names?
Middle name for Haze/Hayes? Do you prefer Hayes or Haze? I really can’t think of any that sound good with it and my last name Tolani. I want a one or two syllable middle name. I liked Marie, but it like rhymes with my last name. Rose is also cute, but it doesn’t sound good. Ren Nicole is her big sister and her big bro is Dax Michael. She is going to be born on Wednesday if she doesn’t come before then!

I like Hayes, but it’s a boys’ name. Haze seems like something you wouldn’t want to name your daughter, like ’mucky fog,’ you know? What about Hazel or Hazelle, and you could call her Haze as an nn?

Like the first poster I thought this was for a boy. If you want to call her Haze/Hayes, please do it as a nickname for Hazel. Haze itself is really ridiculous as a name and Hayes is masculine.
Middle name suggestions:
Hazel Claire
Hazel Jean
Hazel Maeve
Hazel Emma
Hazel Maia

Hayes is manly. Haze is drug-related. I’d name her Hazel!

If I had to choose, because I don’t really find the name attractive, at all, I would choose Hayes. Haze looks more like a haze of smoke or hazing, which isn’t the best connotation with a name.

Please don’t do "Haze" - it sounds too much like a drug-induced fog... (He was all in a haze... everything was all a haze...) He can do wordplay with the word "haze" if he wants to when he’s grown but don’t saddle him with that association and spelling.
