Aurelia vs. Yes vs. No

Hello guys! I’m due to have my second baby girl in May. My husband and I like the name Aurelia, but his mom doesn’t like it and says it doesn’t go with the name of our other daughter, Paige. What do you guys think of Aurelia? Do you have suggestions for close alternatives that go with Paige? Thanks so much, Liz and Dean.

I think Aurelia is a very pretty name and goes great with Paige. You should go with the name if you love it. His mom should have no say despite her not liking it and I don’t think siblings names have to be matching together. I think the the name is fine.

While I love the name Aurelia I kind of agree with your mom. I have a younger sister and our names are very different in style. I had a more classic traditional name while she had the more unusual name. I was always extremely jealous that she had the "cool" name while I had the "boring" one.

I love that name!!! And I think they go very well together. I have a friend with a Paige and her other girls are named Ava, Estella, Jade, and Jasmine. Maybe:
Abrielle
Brielle / Briella
Aubrianna
Abrianna
Jazlyn
Jazelle
I still like Aurelia the best.

I think it is beautiful and unique and goes perfectly with Paige. Ps it is your child your MIL will get used to it :) go for it!
