I think Kaia is the most common spelling of it. My cousin is Finnish and she spells it Kaija, but people mispronounce it. I think Kya would get Kee-uh a lot.

"kaia" is a bad word in the Samoan language...it means " [removed] "...hopefully you don’t live in a place where there is a Samoan community...just wanted to warn you.

Hello! I just wanted to add a correction to what was previously stated. Kaia is not a bad word in the Samoan language. "Kaea" (where the K is a hard sound similar to the letter G sound in English) and it is slang to describe something that (excuse me) sucks.
