Kensington vs. love it! vs. no, i don’t like it

What do you think of the name Kensington for a little girl? We are in the process of picking a name for our daughter and ran across this and we both really like it. We would call her Kensi for short, I think. Let us know what you think! Thanks!

It’s not my style but others may like it. I personally know too many people with that last name. Also there is a popular road in Buffalo, NY known as the Kensington Hwy. Not a nice road to drive on. Too me it will always be a surname or a road. GL.

I’m not a fan. My daughter has a girl named Kensington in her class and it’s always seems vaguely ridiculous on her. I’m not even sure why. I wish her parents had given her a name I could say without wanting to roll my eyes (not that I do, but the impulse is there even after two years of knowing her).

What about Kerrington? Nn Kerri? I dont like kensi at all, way too many K names like that here: Kinzi, mc kenzi, etc

Terrible. Its a surname or boy’s name. Really don’t like it its trendy and I don’t thin kit will age well. I don’t like Kensi either, its a traditional male name.
