Nola vs. Maris vs. Esther
I have crazy different naming styles! One the one hand, Nola and Maris I think represent modern, edgy (but not made up) names, while Esther is different but biblical and old-fashioned. Which way do we go? I think if we go with one style over the other, any future children we would want to keep similar in style.

I typically like biblical old-fashioned names but Esther doesn’t sound very pretty imo. I voted for Maris, which is actually quite nice.

I’m like that too. I like old "grandma" names, classic names, unique names that people call "weird"...I don’t have any one particular style and I don’t think you should restrict yourself to one. Nolah is pretty, but I LOVE Esther. Essie is a cute nickname.

actually I think those three work together. even though they’re a bit different they could totally be sibset. Since Esther is so uncommon, it still pulls off the edgy factor. I like all three, but Nola is my favorite. Nola seems to me more middle ground so I might go for that for that reason too.

I think Nola Maris would be a stunning full name. You could actually use all three: Nola Esther Maris, which sounds very nice and is very gorgeous. But I love Nola Maris!

Nola sounds amazing. I think that you can pair it with Esther or names similar to that.
