Seraphina Aria Rose vs. Harley Quinn Rose
Hello all, My baby’s father and I are having a slight disagreement in the naming process and we were looking for outside opinions! So I have chosen Seraphina Aria as I LOVE the meanings Seraphina ( Highest order of the Angels ) and Aria ( Beautiful melody ) He on the other hand has chosen Harley Quinn - I am aware this sound like the flower Harlequin Rose , Which he says adds to the ’Charm’... Rose will stay as it’s a family name! Please tell us your thoughts on these names so we an stop calling her Baby Girl Lowe :) Thanks, Mel and Jack!

Harley Quinn is (most often) The Joker’s accomplice. She’s a deranged villainess for DC comic. Using one is great but both is too much. So may I suggest using Seraphina as her first name afterall mommy should have final say since she goes through labor and birth and he can choose between either Seraphina Harley Rose, which I prefer myself, or Seraphina Quinn Rose. Harley Quinn is the name of a villain in Batman. I really wouldn’t use this name.
Seraphina is lovely, but maybe you should use a middle name he likes in the interest of compromise.

Seraphina Harley Rose would be so posh and gorgeous! Now THAT has charm! Hope he likes it or he will lose altogether because no one will vote to name a beautiful little girl directly after a mentally unstable and psychotic villainess. That doesn’t exactly scream cute and I am a HUGE comic fan.

I think your names are the better ones! I’m not a fan of Harley or Quinn but I suppose as a middle name they’d be okay! Also please could everyone who has commented on her check out my poll about my Twin Girls names Lena and Katarina as I haven’t received any feedback yet thanks! Lauren!

Harlequin isn’t a flower -- it is a joker or a buffoon. Don’t do this to your child. On the other hand, Seraphina Aria is just too over the top. Find a middle ground, maybe? Like Aria Quinn or Harley Seraphina?

I think Seraphina Harley would be better than Seraphina Quinn, if those are your options. Maybe you could see if there are any other names he likes besides those two.

Thanks, there is also a flower called Harlequin but I still agree it’s an awful name! I don’t like Harley for the first name as it’s Unisex and I want her to have a girly name! Aria might work with Harley as the mn but not Quinn as then it would be Aria Quinn Rose Lowe which is very bitsy and harsh sounding IMO! Mel.

I think you should definitely stick your ground on Seraphina it’s beautiful not common and has lots of great NN’s for [removed]ildhood and adulthood! Harley is the best as a middle name if he really won’t back down on it!?

Harley Quinn also reminds me of harlequin ichthyosis, a rare skin condition. Quinn Harley Rose is much better. To be honest, I think that Seraphina Quinn, a combination of both of your choices, sounds the best, because both Seraphina and Aria end in A.
