Middle for vs. Alexis (boy)

I have loved the Alexis on a BOY my whole life, but was quite unsure about it. But when I saw a poll from a woman with a son named Alexis, I was sure: Alexis is the name for us. And DH is on board with it (he always liked it as well). We are now looking for a middle name. Any suggestions? And if you are trying to talk me out of it or are going to bash the name, please don’t bother answering. Because first of all, It was originally a boys name and second: If we live in a time where it is "normal" to name your daughter Spencer or Hunter (I met like 2 little girls named Spencer and 1 named Hunter) than I think I can sure as hell name my son Alexis.

From personal experience, it is really hard for a boy to share a name with girl in his school. And trust me telling him girls have boy’s names don’t stop the tears when he is picked on. Fair or not it is way harder on a boy than the girl.

My husbands name is Alexis! It's pronounced Alex-EES, it's Spanish! However living in the US we understand that he will be called Alexis but my husband dealt with it just fine and so does our son!
