Cullen vs. Colin vs. Callen
Hi! My hubby and I have narrowed down our list of boys names to Colin, Cullen, Callen or Kohan. We are starting to drift away from Kohan bc although it is an Irish surname like a few of our other ideas, we have been reading about a very similar spelling being offensive. So despite the fact it was my front runner, we think we might just focus on the other three names we like. What are your thoughts on these little boy names. Which is your favourite? Which do you dislike the most? Thanks for your help!!

I like Cullen best. The Twilight association is somewhat off putting for me though.

Cullen - no way, unless you want everyone to think that he was named for the Twilight character. (IMO, YUCK!!)
Colin - LOVE!! A strong, traditional first name.
Callen - LOVE!! I really like the nn Cal.
Kohan - Nah. Just don’t really think it looks right as a name. Conan / Konan is similar name that’s kinda nice.

I also love the name Cohen, but if you’re unsure about it, what about Conan?
My favorite is Cullen, but you have the whole Twilight thing. Although it’s fading and by the time he’s older, no one will be thinking about Twilight. So, I think it’s good. Second favorite is Callan- you might also like Kellan.

I like Callen best as Cull isn’t a great nickname although Cullen is fine left alone. Colin seems so old-fashioned to me. It is not quite old enough to be ’in’ fashion or young enough to be popular. It is like a father or grandfather’s name imo.
