I’ve liked this name since mortal kombat came out which is where I got the name from. Can anyone tell me the meaning of this name? I cannot find it anywhere online, I am also considering naming my daughter this, what do you think?? I am thinking of Jade as the middle name, any comments welcome.

I just looked it up and like you, couldn’t find a meaning or origin. However, I found that Jade is also in the game and I think that’s a little overboard.

I’m a mortal kombat fan too. I think Kitana is just made up, but it sounds a lot like "katana" which is a Japanese sword. If you love the name, I say go for it.

You could always use the name of the actress that played Kitana in the movies...her name was Talisa Soto. I think Talisa is a beautiful name. Just a suggestion...

I like Kitana, but I think with Jade it is a little overboard. For a middle name I would pick something a little bit more classic. Just a suggestion
