Bellatrix vs. ???

I keep hearing this name and I think it is beautiful. My only concern is the obvious connection with Harry potter and I wouldn’t want my child to be known as the kid named after an evil psychotic witch from a film. Wdyt?

don’t do it. Harry Potter is never going to fad and Bellatrix is one of those names that will forever be connected to a book. If it waas something like Alice or Edward. From Twilight I’d say go for it because those could be names from anywhere but Bellatrix is so unusual that the only thing people will think is Harry Potter. What about Beatrix.

While I also think it is a pretty name, I agree that she will also be connected to a character with a negative connotation. How about just Bella or Arabella?
