Nadia Yasmine vs. Love it vs. Hate it

Hey everyone!! So, our daughter will be born in New York City and I know it’s a little corny, but I wanted the initials NYC (I’ve always loved this city!). We were originally going to settle with Nadia Desiree, but then we came up with the whole NYC thing. How do you feel about Nadia Yasmine Carter? Thanks, Chloe

Nadia is nice, Yasmine is ok but I like it SO much more than Desiree. That name sounds kind of trashy to me, sorry. A variant of desire is just too sexy for me to name a child, maybe I’m a prude :)
I like names with meaning and I also know what it is like to love a city, check out New Orleans and San Fran if you haven’t! NYC is neat, I say go with it. GL!

Not a fan of Nadia and Yasmine reminds me of the birth control. Sorry to be so brutally honest.. I really don’t want to be mean. If you love it go for it but if you’re not definite yet then how about Natalie or Natalia Yvette?? The initials NYC by the way are darling! GL

Thanks for the suggestion of Natalia Yvette, but we’re pretty stuck on Nadia. I was considering Yvonne or Yvette instead of Yasmine, but I thought Yasmine went best with Nadia. Maybe we’ll reconsider that. Thanks =)

sorry but i don’t like Nadia and Yasmine both. as a middle name i would use Yvonne or maybe Yvette. Those i like:

Natalie Yvonne
Neola (ne-ola) Yvonne
Nancy Yvette
Nola Yvette

speaking about Yasmine, i would pick Naomi OR Nicolette Yasmine

Stick with Nadia, it’s lovely and underused. For a mn, I like Yasmine way better than Yvonne and Yvette and think it flows much nicer too. GL!

Nadia Yasmine is beautiful. It flows well, is different but not out there, and she’ll have a cool story behind her name. I hope you use this name!
