Kimberly a vs. Spelled with C?

Is there any ways to spell Kimberly with a C, my name is Colette and my husband is Chris and our kids are Colton and Carson so we want to continue the C trend with our daughter but the name we’ve fallen in love with is Kimberly. Also, if we name her Kimberly will the nickname Kim come naturally because we’re not a huge fan of the nickname Kim so we would love if we could prevent it. Thanks Colette and Chris

If you spell it Cimberly, it’ll always be pronounced as "SIM-bur-lee" not "KIM-bur-lee."

If I didn’t know it was Kimberly with a C then I would have pronounced it like Simberly. Not very attractive.

How about Cambrie or Cambria? I think it’s much prettier and fits better with your boys names.
To give an honest opinion, I hate the name Kimberly. To me it’s just an ugly name. Just my opinion though, don’t take it wrong way! Anyways, good luck :)

Cimberly is breaking rules of phonics. It should, in theory, be pronounced SIM-brr-lee.
