Brooklyn vs. Brookelyn vs. Brooke Lynn
Which spelling is the best? We will call her Brooke most of the time, most likely, but I still want Lyn(n) included somehow. I like the spelling Brooklyn the best, but since we’d call her Brooke, I feel like there should be an ’e’ in her full name. My mom suggested that her first name could be Brooke and her middle name Lynn, and I thought that was really cute. What do you think?

I like Brooke Lynn or Brooklyn. I think the extra e will be a probem.
I’d choose a name with more class and avoid the city association. There are lots of names that end in Lynn, if you especially like that. I know a little girl named Andelyn. Also Evelyn, Madelyn, Marilyn, Jaclyn. Or you could use Lynn as a middle name. Ruby Lynn, Georgia Lynn, Gracie Lynn, Clara Lynn. Or if you like citt names,I’d recommend a nicer one, like Avonlea.

I agree with the third poster, but if you absolutely have to use it, go with Brooke Lynn. Brooklyn is overdone and so tacky.

I think of you’re going to call her Brooke all the time anyway, then just name her Brooke with the middle name Lynn.

It always looked strange to me.
I’d go with Brooklyn personally but if you want the e, go for Brookelyn.
