Combinations vs. for vs. Twin Girls

Hello we are hoping to decide on our twin daughters first names today and possibly middle names. Our other elimination poll was deleted so we have gone back to look at all of the names that were suggested to us and have decided on our top 10 since we don’t have the original top 10 from the poll. They will be joining their older sister Jessa Elaine. We like spunky names and as of right now we are strongly considering Luce as one of their names. We will post the names in the first comment as well as some of the middle names we are considering. Thank you again.

I love Lana & Leila, I think they’re adorable.

You’re most likely not going to use them, but I think cute twin names are Katelyn(Kate, Katie) Elaine & Madelyn(Maddy) Claire?

Eliminate Luce. Maybe Lucy nn Luce though. I also dislike Colby. Its a boys name.

I would live Lucy Jocelyn nn Luce and Leila Vivian or
Lucy Jocelyn nn Luce and August Fiona

Yes we can’t use your suggestions of Madelyn and Katelyn, because my sister is Madeleine and their sister’s middle name is Elaine. But you are right, they are cute names.

I think Heidi, Melody and Gemma fit what you are going for, but Gemma is too close to Jessa.

Leila is pronounced lay-la, so don’t use that spelling if you want it to be pronounced lee-la. And I know you love it, but PLEASE don’t use Luce! At least go with Lucy nn Luce if you must. Calling your daughter "loose" isn’t exactly classy.

We are not trying to be classy and what is the difference, Luce (Loose) or Lucy which is pronounced (loose-y)? Not trying to offend people but it is basically the same thing but one is ’classic’.

Melody and Lana. Please reconsider Luce as your daughter’s first name. I have a friend named Luz from Colombia and she didn’t understand at first why people teased about her name. "Loose" isn’t an adjective you want associated with your daughter, even though the meaning of both Luce and Luz is "light".
From your first names, I really like Lana and Melody and Eileen. From your middle name list I like Valerie, Carol, and Fiona.
What about:

Melody Fiona
Eileen Valerie (hmmm, sounds better switched to Valerie Eileen).
