No. I think it is just as bad as naming her Sheldon or Herman.

I like it for both, it’s one of the few names I like for girls that is a popular boys name.

Really, what’s the big deal if a name becomes unisex? Not everyone wants a flowery princessy name for their little girls. Nothing like starting gender stereotypes right out of the womb.

To answer the poster of this poll - I considered Ryan as a middle name for my little girl (after her dad) but I don’t think we are going that route. But I have met a little girl named Ryan before and the name suited her well. I would probably pair it with a more feminine middle name though just for a nice balance.

some ppl want their boy name not to become ’flowery princessy’ when ppl name their girls boy names thinking it is ’cute’.
Ryan is a boy name.
