I am trying to find a variant spelling of the name Leah. Both my husband’s mother and my mother share the name Leah and I want to honour them by naming my first daughter after them but also stick away from that particular spelling. Which do you like best? I love Lia! I much prefer it to Leah. Lea is okay as well but Lia is definitely the best. I think Leea and Leigha both look a little ridiculous and, while I like Leyah and Leia, they would definitely be pronounced lay-ah rather than lee-ah. It’s a beautiful name!

It depends on how you want it pronounced. Lea is cute if you want it pronounced Lee-ah, but be aware that Lee is also a legit pronunciation for that spelling. Leia is great if you want it pronounced Lay-ah.
