I have a boy due in 2 1/2 months and have fallen for the name Kayden, but are not sure what the best way is to spell it.. middle name hasn’t been chosen yet.

I think it would depend on the spelling of your last name. You could also see what is most common where you live and decide whether having to spell it out every single time would be an issue for you or not.

I like Caden the best. This is the most traditional anglicized form. See http://www.behindthename.com/name/caden. There is no K in Irish Gaelic, just the C which has the /k/ sound.

I am considering having the MN as Cole... so Kaden/Kayden/Caden Cole Richardson
NOPE. Don’t do it. Maybe Brayden Cole, Aiden Cole, Jaiden Cole, etc. Don’t do the K/Caiden Cole thing. Too tongue twisty. Too many k/hard c sounds.

I like Caden best but not if you’re going to use Cole as the middle name. Then I’d go with Kayden.
But I do agree with the pp. I don’t think Cole goes well with the name very well.

Caden. Anything with a K makes me think it’s a girl. The name has always sounded girly, so changing up the spelling makes it seem even more so.
