If I had a child named Eliana, I’d probably end up giving them the nickname Ellie, or even Eli (pn like the boy’s name, but I think it’s a really cute nn for any names starting with Eli-).

Elle, or at least the way I pronounce it, sounds too much like the letter L. It’s kind of weird.

I think Ellie is the nickname she’ll end up with, which will inevitably be shortened sometimes to Elle. Ella just seems like more of a standalone name--but you can’t go wrong!

I love the name Eliana and would never willingly shorten it! Don’t choose a nickname now. Wait until you meet her ;)

Eliana is a little too trendy for my taste. Ella or Ellie would be the preferred nicknames for me.
