Veronica (nn Ronnie) ?
Rhoda
Dora
Donna
If I were you, I would just use Rhonda as a middle name. Or use your mom’s middle name even.

There are many ways you could go about this:
1) Try using Rhonda as a mn or use HER mn somewhere.
2) The name Rhonda in Greek means, "Rose; woman from Rhodes.". In Welsh you take rhon, "pike or lance," and da, "good," and have, "Good pike.". You could try finding names with similar meanings, or use part of the meaning as a name. Try Rose (Greek), Day/Dae (variation on Welsh da), or type in on Google, any launguage (such as French or Greek) for good, etc.
3) If there is a nn she ever went by see about using that.
4) Look at her initials and see if they spell anything. You could even add a few letters to make a word. Examples: R.E.S. Reese. W.I.D. Wind. T.U.H. Truth.
5) Give your daughter the same initials as your mom. For example, if your mom’s first to initials are R and E, have your daughter’s name be Renee Elise!
I have found that http://babynamesworld.parentsconnect.com/ is a very helpful sight for finding names, meanings, and getting help from name expert mommas. :-) Congrats and GOOD LUCK!!!

P.S. you could also try spelling the name backwards. If you find Adnohr a little strange you could go with Addy as a nn or change it around to make it nicer. Suggestions:
Addinore (ad-i-nor). Nicknames: Addy
Adinor (ad-i-nor) Nicknames: Addy
Adinohra (ad-i-nor-a). Nicknames: Addy or Nora
Adinora (ad-i-nor-a). Nicknames: Addy or Nora
Addinora (ad-i-nor-a). Nicknames: Addy or Nora
Hope that helps.

I love Veronica. Anything with "Ron" sound would honor your mother.
