Florin too vs. Feminine?
Is the name Florin too feminine for a boy? I love the name Florin! I love the sound, that it honor my grandpa Corin, and that it is a place name in my favorite movie. However I’m afraid it is too feminine for a boy with the Flor beginning. What do you think?

I actually don’t think it’s too feminine. Loren is a boy’s name that has a similar sound. Maybe put a stately middle name like Joseph in there...Florin Joseph...I kind of like Florin too. GL.

Thanks for the advise. If I end of using Florin I will make sure to use a very masculine middle name. Some thing along the lines of Edward, Edmond, Ned or William. Thanks

I don’t think it’s feminine. I’m poster #1. Orin and Loren are used so why can’t Florin be used? I think Florin Edward would be nice. GL
