I ran across the name Elliotte, for a girl. Is it said the same way as Elliot or does it have a different pronunciation? Thanks!

It is said the same, written as you have it. I tried to convince my husband to pick that name, he wouldn’t cave :(

I really don’t think this name suits a girl, no matter how its spelt (orally, there’s no difference...). If you absolutely MUST, then Elliette looks girly enough and you can get the nickname Ellie from it. But Elliot is 100% boy and Elliotte looks like ellie-ott

Where I live, Otte would be pronounced "Oat-ie" so Elliotte becomes "El-ee-oat-ie". I’m somewhat kidding and somewhat serious. They pronounce Beatrice as "BEE-at-trish".

Pronounced the same. If you were to spell it Elliette (which suits a girl better imho) it would be pronounced a little differently.

I would say them the exact same way. It’s just a different spelling. I love the name for a girl.

Isn’t it pronounce el-watt? I think that’s how they would pronounce it in French.
