I pronounce Myra like MY-rah. Mira and Meera like MEER-ah. A lady on my local news station is named Myra and pronounces it MY-rah

I pronounce it Meer-ah. I’m pretty sure that’s how actress Mira Sorvino pronounces her name. I’ve not known anyone personally with the name, so no real associations. I think it’s lovely.

I pronounce Mira like Mee-rah, and Myra like My-rah. I read a book where the main character’s name was Myra, and I actually really like it.

I love the name Mira. I would pronounce it Mee-rah. I does sound a bit like mirror to me but I still love it.

I pronounce your first two choices the same way (Mirra and Meera) -- and that is how I pronounce Mira! I think it is beautiful, classy, and works on any age person. Much prettier than Myra (MY-ruh) in my opinion

I would not say Myra as Meer-uh, I would say it as My-ruh. I think Mira or Meera are the best spellings of the name. Mirra looks odd that way. I don’t really have any association with the name, and while I’m not all that crazy about the sound of it, it’s okay.
