Edward Patrick vs. Theodore Patrick vs. James Patrick
My main concern - is Theodore getting too popular? Is Edward a nice alternative? I still like James too. I’m not worried about nicknames, those can come naturally in my opinion. :) Only 11 days til my due date and really want to make a decision! Please help by voting and commenting. Thanks!

James is one of my favorite names, and is probably the most popular/common of the names on your list. I only know one little Theodore and no Edwards. I really like Patrick too!

I’m not a Twilight fan, so that never even entered my brain! :) I haven’t heard of any baby Edwards or James recently in my neck of the woods (Portland, OR). Thanks for the feedback.

I’m seeing Theodore a lot on the polls lately. That would worry me too. I think Edward is a wonderful alternative. I don’t find it nearly as identifiable with Twilight as some of the other names from that series, like Jasper, for instance. Edward is such a classic, it can avoid that stigma. And, honestly, I only know one younger Edward. He’s maybe in middle school now, so I ’m sure Twilight had nothing to do with his name.

Edward is lovely and my favourite.
Twilight is just a fad but by the time he grows up no-one will remember it. Edward is a lovely classic name which suits all ages. I also like James but not quite as much.

James, now that is way too common. Every other kid has James as one of their names, first or middle.
