Is Avery and Everly too vs. close???

We have an 18 month old daughter named Avery Elaine and are in love with the name Everly but we worry that it is too similar to Avery, WDYT? Would Evelyn be better? Thanks! Jay and Meghan

Too close. Evelyn is better, but even that name is very similar in its sounds to Avery. I would go one degree further in separation.

Too similar. Evelyn is better. You might also like Ellery, Ellison, Eden, or Elodie.

I think they are too close but I like Everly as a name.
Evelyn is a better choice; even though they are two different styles of names.
I think Evie would match better.

I like Elodie and possibly Evangeline although we would likely call her Evie for short which is also close to Avery:). Meghan

I love both Avery and Everly, but I do think that they’re very similar for sisters. I also really love Evelyn, but I don’t think it really fits the same style as Avery.

I think Avery and Everly are too similar in sound as well. Even though it has been said that Evelyn is a different style than Avery, if you like Evelyn, I think you should go for it! Avery and Evelyn are both popular names and have similar sounds (but aren’t too "matchy"). I think they go just fine together!
