Beatrix vs. Lily vs. Rowen
We’re so hot-and-cold with names for this baby! One day we love one, the next we’re iffy. It’s very stressful! Picking out the boys’ names was so simple! Lol. Beatrix is my favorite, Rowen is his, Lily is our mutual favorite! I have concerns with all three, my husband thinks I’m just being silly. Beatrix, while striking, may be a little much for a little girl to carry, Rowen may be too boyish for a little girl, and Lily may be a little immature for a grown woman. But we really like these three! (And Liv, but I’m not sure if I want to take it from my sister who is set on naming her future daughter Olivia!) which do you like best? If it helps, our sons are Zachary, Harper and August! Thank you!

Rowen is too boyish, I totally agree. Beatrix is nice although I prefer Beatrice. If you use Beatrice I definitely don’t think it’s too much. Trixie is a very cute nickname for Beatrix though. Lily will age fine - my major concern with it is that it is ridiculously overused right now - by itself as well as as a nickname for Lillian, Liliana, Lilith, etc. You could use one of those as a full name and call her Lily, but only if you are ok with her being one of many as she grows up. I still prefer Lily to Rowen though.

Beatrix is gorgeous and sounds fabulous with your boys’ names. I’d love Rowan for a boy with Zachary, Harper and August but I agree I would assume she was a boy with your boys’ names. Lily is nice enough but so popular.

Beatrix-I think this name is a little too old fashioned. Maybe if you called her Bee/Bea all the time???
Lily-Perfect for a little girl, nice on an older woman, but does sound a little childish.
Liv-If Luv would be her full name, then I think that it’s fine. I wouldn’t name her Olivia because of the situation with your sister.
