We need opinions vs. on the name vs. Mavery May-vree Elizabeth

We are expecting twin girls and we have chosen Everly Jane for baby A but we want to know your opinions on the name Mavery Elizabeth for baby B. We came up with the name because I wanted to use Maeve and my husband wanted Avery so we combined the names and came up with Mavery. We may call her Mave for short but does Mave look weird? Thanks for your help! Meg and Jay

With sister Everly, I feel like I would trip over Mavery’s name and always end up calling her Maverly. I think Maeve works much better. And yes, Mave looks weird.

I actually think Mavery is really pretty! I’m not a fan of the Mave spelling though. Maybe just spell her nn Maeve just because it looks better. GL

Mavery and Everly are too close and Avery and Everly are too close so I would go with Maeve and you can tell your husband you don’t want to use Avery because it’s too close to Everly. If he doesn’t like Maeve find another name.
