Emmerson vs. Emerson

We love this name for our baby. Which spelling? If we have a girl her middle name will be either Olivia or Elizabeth and if we have a boy his middle name will be Clayton or Cole. We have one son named Sawyer Andrew and a daughter named Adrienne Phoebe. Thanks

I think you should use the spelling with 2 m’s if it’s a girl and one m if it’s a boy. To me the 2 m’s just looks more feminine.

Elizabeth & Olivia both sound nice wih Emerson. I think Cole goes better than Clayton.

I went back and forth between Emerson and Emmerson as well. I thought Emmerson looks girlier, but I ultimately went with Emerson because it just looked better and I figured most people would spell it that way.
