Joyce vs. Joy vs. Other variant Of Joyce

Hi. My name is Elisa and I’m expecting my first baby and recently found out that it is going to be a little girl. My boyfriend and I have recently split up so I will be raising her alone and I have found that picking a name I really love is harder than I thought. I really want to honor my mother (Joyce) in some way. I really like the name Joyce an[removed]ot opposed to using it but I was also looking into variant forms of Joyce but the only thing I can come up with is Joy (which I also like). I don’t know if I want to use my mums name as her first name or her middle name an[removed]ore than open to suggestions for both and other variants of Joyce if you have any. Joya/Joia is another name. Can be pronounced like "Joy-ah" or with a silent J ("Hoy-ah"). GL!

Joyen (Joy-in) or Joine (Jo-een) I think are very unique and pretty and very similar to Joyce. They are two of my favorite names. Best of luck to you.

I like Joy. I think Joy Cecilia, Joy Celeste, Joy Celina would be cute and then it would have all the letters of Joyce.
