I prefer Lacey. I think it’s a little unprofessional as a first name. My best friend’s name is Elizabeth Lacey but she hates Elizabeth and goes by Lacey. It just sounds like a cutesy name for Lace. Like, "Oh, I really love this wedding gown...it’s so lace-y."

Also, no one spells my friend’s name correctly. It’s always spelled Lacy. She was named after her grandfather, whose last name was Lacey.
