Will you call her Nora or Nora Jean. I like the sound of Nora Jean Smith better than Nora Smith, so I’d vote for calling her Nora Jean.

I Love the name Nora and would call her just plain Nora. Unless Jean is a family name, I’d be inclined to use a different mn, Kate, perhaps, but Nora Jean is fine. GL!

I love the name. Just be aware people are going to associate it with Norma Jean (Marilyn Monroe’s real name).

I didn’t know Norma Jean was Marilyn Monroe’s given name. The older generation might make the association but I don’t think most will. Nora Jean sounds just fine, IMO.
