Middle name For vs. Maureen?

My daughter will be named Maureen but I cannot decide on a middle name. I’d quite like another Irish name, possibly Aoife (eefa) or Saoirse (seer-sha) but I’m open to any suggestions at all. Thanks!

My niece’s name is Maureen Elizabeth (Momo when young, Mo now). She’s 25. My SIL wanted to name her after the most beautiful woman she could think of, Maureen O’Hara. I was thrilled when I heard their choice all those years ago and I still think it’s a great name to use now. :0) Not that it needs any nicknames, but I so rarely get to discuss this name that I’m going to throw another one out: Mor. It’s a name in it’s own right in Irish, meaning "great." Just a thought.

Maureen Aoife and Maureen Soairse are stunning. Others you might like:

Thank you so much to FredaCat for all of the wonderful suggestions and we adore the possibility of Mor for a nickname. We love Caoimhe, Orla, Betrys, Fionnuala, Sadhbh, Athenry, Eithne and Eira!
