It is actually very common now. It ranked #56 in 2013. That’s really popular.

I personally think it’s best to choose outside of the top 100 names. Who wants to be 1 of 3 Isabella’s in the class?

I wouldn’t call it common, but it’s also not unheard of. I know a 3 year old, Penelope, who goes by Penny half the time. She’s adorable, outgoing and smart as can be!

That’s good to know. In my country it’s unheard of as the majority of people have more common names like Emma and Jane.
