Sandra vs. Sondra

Which do you prefer? I think I prefer Sondra as I like the pronunciation better and I think it seems softer / more feminine somehow. I also have a son named Roland so I thought the O in Sondra goes better with his name. Although I’d like some honest opinions on which you prefer please :)

Meaning & History
Short form of ALESSANDRA. It was introduced to the English-speaking world by author George Meredith, who used it for the heroine in his novel ’Emilia in England’ (1864) and the reissued version ’Sandra Belloni’ (1887). A famous bearer is American actress Sandra Bullock (1964-).

I think Sandra looks much prettier visually and it can be pronounced sahn-drah too! It can be short for Sandrine (sahn-dreen) and Alessandra (al-es-ahn-druh.)

I grew up with a sandra pronounced sondra...sandra jean as a matter of fact and many complimented her.
