Depends on whether you’re going for the long "a" or the short "a" sound. Elaina says the "a" and Elana is the short "a" sound. So they shouldn’t actually be pronounced the same way. Elena is another sound all together.

Elaina is said ’Ell-ay-na’
Elana is said ’Ell-ahh-na’
Elena is said ’Ell-eh-na’

So none of them are the same. But I like Elena best, or Elaina if you’re going for that sound. People might call her banana if you call her Elana. Good luck!!!

I know two Elenas and they both pronounce them Ell ay na. Spell it Elaina so there is no confusion.
