Thank you for all the suggestions. We may have to use the name Edward for family reasons. For a boy that isn’t a problem, he would be Edward nn Ward. I just have a hard time finding a girl version that I like.
I’ve known a lot of girls with double names like Mary Stuart, Mary Elliott, Mary Lafitte, etc. It’s a very Southern thing, but I think if you named your daughter Mary Edward or Mary Edwards, it would be fine.
