Full name vs. for Lissy

I need a full name for the first name Lissy. We don’t like Elisabeth, Melissa, Alyssa, Felicity, or Clarissa. Do you think we could name her Isabel and call her Lissy, or is that too much of a stretch. Thanks for all suggestions!

Lisette (Liz-et)? Cute, and nn Lissy fits. Or maybe Lyssa or Lissia? Lisette is my favorite. What do you think?

I still haven’t found a full name that I really like yet. Isabel? Do you think thats’s ok?

Hm. I think with a name like Isabel people tend to shorten it to Izzy. My little girl is Felicia.
Alicia
Lissabelle
Lissia (as suggested above)
Lissian
Lissandra
Melisande

I think Lissy might be a stretch for Isabel. Alessia? Could you name her something that starts with an "L" and use Elisabeth, Alyssa, or something like that as her middle name...then Lissy could be a cute combination of her first and middle names?

Lillian Alyssa nn Lissy?
Lindsey Elisabeth nn Lissy?
Lila Elisabeth
etc.

Allison tends to get the nn Alli, i don’t think lissy goes w/ allison well, and isabel doesnt either. I’ve seen Lizabeth used instead of Elizabeth and call her liz or lizzy? You could just name her Lizzy and go w/ it for the full name. GL!

I think both Isabel and Allison are stretching it way too far.

How about Elissa nn Lissy or just Lissa nn Lissy?

Other options:

Bliss nn Lissy
Lysandra nn Lyssie
Felice nn Lissy
Elise nn Lissy

Melissa? My Aunt is Melissa and people call her Meliss (Ma-Lis), so Lissy would be a good nickname too

Allison Kate is adorable. You can nn your child anything you like, it’s not even a stretch with Allison. You could name her Amanda and still call her Lissy if you like.
