Maisie vs. Macie vs. Macy
I’m always loved the name Macy but don’t know how to spell it. I also love it as a nickname probably more than a full name but I don’t know what full name would fit. I thought of Mason but I don’t like it on a girl. How would you spell it (you can suggest another spelling) and what are some full name suggestions? Thank you!

Maisie is a Scottish nickname for Margaret.
I think that any name that starts with an M will work pretty well, but some will be more obvious.
Some suggestions:
Margaret
Magdalene
Mary/Marie
Mae
Matilda
Margot
Maeve
Maris
Maren
Maude
Marissa
Melisande
Marina
Mariel
Marlena
Marguerite
Maxine
Minerva
Magnolia
Marcella
Miranda

If you want Maisie as a nickname, Mae as a full name?

Thank you for your help! We like Maris & Marcella, but are realizing there aren’t much choices! What do you all think of Mason for a girl?

DEFINITELY NO for Mason on a girl!
Maisie is pronounced May-zee while Macy is May-see so the spelling would depnd on how you want it pronounced.
How about Mae - nn Macy

Personally, I think Mason sounds better on a boy. Although, I do know one girl named Mason, I know many more boys.

I prefer Mason for boys but believe is it becoming a unisex name. If you use it, try changing the spelling and making the middle name very feminine, for example, Maisyn Rose
