Reeves vs. needs vs. a middle name

Hey. My boyfriend and I are expecting our first child together in a few weeks. It’s a baby girl and we decided on Reeves as her first name. It’s a family name and has a lot of meaning to us, espacilly to my boyfriend. What do you think of Reeves? We are still trying to come up with a nice middle name. We first thought about Fagan, that’s my last name, but I think that would be to many family names for one baby.. Do you have a suggestions for us? Thank you so much! Best luck to all of you! Chloe

Perhaps a nice "girly" name to balance it all out, like Reeves Evangeline or Reeves Elizabeth.

Maybe you could use Reeves as the middle name? I think it’s a bit too masculine for a girl.
Hillary Reeves
Savannah Reeves
Ariana Reeves
Jeanette Reeves
Delaney Reeves
Ophelia Reeves
Natalie Reeves

Reeves sounds like a definite boy name. I think paired with Fagan is especially masculine. What about Regan where it’s like a combo of both names. Otherwise I think pairing a girly name with Reeves would be nice. Reeves Corinne, Reeves Aurora, or Reeves Juliet seem to flow nice.

I agree, Reeves is too masculine for my taste. No would suggest you save it for your son. If you do use it for your daughter, the middle name position would be best. If you insist on using it as a fist name for your daughter, then I agree, it needs to be balanced by an ultra feminine middle name, such as Juliette.

Reeves sounds like a better middle name. Perhaps Fay Reeves. since fagan kind of reminds me of fay and its a nice girl name

You have final say on what the baby is named. Since you’re not married, you’ll be signing all the paperwork in the hospital. Keep that in mind.

Not a fan of Reeves, especially on a girl. It is very masculine, so I agree with the other posters.
