Baby Name Poll Results

I have two children currently, Preston James (5) and Meredith Anne (2). I am expecting another little girl soon, and I adore the name Eleanor. My first (and favorite) middle name idea was Marie, but since we call Meredith "Merry" so often, I am worried. I had such a hard time deciding on Meredith’s name, because many people dislike it/think it’s old fashioned, but it ended up being perfect for my daughter and she’s growing into it beautifully. However, it is her name, and I don’t want to use Marie on her younger sister and have it be too similar. Other middle name ideas were Eleanor Rose and Eleanor Kate. She would most likely go by Ellie when she’s little. What do you think? And does Eleanor sound okay with Preston and Meredith?
