Middle Name vs. Evelyn Or vs. Lynn

Hi everyone, you all have been amazingly helpful! I need some help with middle name picks. A family member had Lynn as part of their name, and I have decided to use it as the middle name for my baby. I have gone back and forth between Evelyn and Lynn, both honoring the same person. Obviously Lynn is the same name coming from the person being honored, but Evelyn I found was a unique way to honor them, but give my baby their own unique name. I also love the meaning of Evelyn- "wished for child." What are all of your opinions!!

I personally like the flow of Sadie Lynn better but I like Evelyn better than Lynn as a name.

I tend to be a purist. If your intent is to honor someone named Lynn, I think it’s best to stick with Lynn.
