Kenna Lynn vs. Abigail Lynn vs. Opinions On These Names?

The only name that we could agree on from the suggestions on our last poll was Abigail Lynn. I like it but I’m not crazy about it because we have an older son named Aidan so I don’t really want another A name and I’m not a huge fan of Abbie/Abby. Kenna Lynn has been on our list since we made our first poll. We both really like it. Lynn honors my mom, Lyndsey. I know most people will probably like Abigail better but I am still just not sure that I want to use another A name and again, I don’t like Abbie/Abby. What are your opinions on this? She is due any day now! Her brothers are twins, Aidan Reid and Dalton Keith(2). Surname is Robertson. Thanks for all the help so far! ~Bridgit and Chandler

I agree with poster one- Kenna Lynn doesn’t sound good. I don’t really like Abigail either though. If you love Kenna just use it.

Abigail Lynn definitely flows better between the two and definitely will age a LOT better than Kenna. However with your sons’ names, Aidan and Dalton being fairly trendy, I think Kenna would sound better with them. I also get what you mean about not wanting to use another A name.

I’m not a fan of Kendall Lynn, to me it sounds like it would be like Kendalyn or something but thanks for that suggestions! We are really liking Melody Lynn, Maisie Lynn, and Hadley Lynn. We don’t really understand where everyone is getting that Kenna Lynn Robertson rhymes too much, I mean Lynn and Robertson do but not Kenna and Lynn. Lynn is being used as the middle name no matter what. Thanks for everything so far! ~Bridgit and Chandler

Abigail Lynn sounds fine. Not a fan of Kenna, but Kendra is nice. If you don’t like Abby, call her Abigail and everybody else will, too. When she gets older, she’ll probably start correcting people who call her Abby. But when she gets to be a teen, whether she wants a nickname will be up to her.

I am just not entirely crazy about it, but my husband loves it, and I’m not so sure if I want to use another A name since we already have an Aidan. I don’t want my kids to have repeating initials. Thanks! ~Bridgit and Chandler

Based on the names you said you like (Melody, Maisie, Hadley and Kenna), here are some more ideas, apologies for any repeats:

If you both truly love Kenna, then go for it! I’m personally not a fan of it, but if you both love it, you should use it. Abigail is always a lovely classic choice but if you aren’t in love with it, don’t settle

Makenna Lynn or
Kennedy Lynn
I think all flow better than Kenna Lynn & you can always call her Kenna for short. Best of Luck!

No offense, but poster 1 needs to learn how to rhyme lol. Kenna Lynn Robertson does not "rhyme" at all!! This name flows the best hands down and I think it is the most beautiful by far.
