I think the best way to spell a name is the correct way. Eliana is a Hebrew name which means God has answered or Jehovah answers. If you alter the spelling the meaning no longer applies. As far as I know this is the only correct way to spell the name.

Not spelling a name correctly causes issues for a child throughout their life. I would go with Eliana.

Eliana is the correct spelling, but I think Elyana would be an appropriate alternate. Elyona is pretty, too, but some people might think it’s el-ee-OH-na.

I agree with the first commenter. However, if you want to change the spelling, but still maintain the name phonetically, I’d say you can add an "l" or change the "i" to a "y" Simple is best!

We are liking Ellianna - we are worried the Eliana spelling will always be mispronounced. We love the Ellie-Anna pronunciation.

Pronounce Eliana any way you like. But don’t mess with the spelling, please. Or, Ellie Anna.

If you’re saying it El-ee-ah-nuh, I would spell it Elliana. If you’re saying it El-ee-ann-uh, I would spell it Ellianna.
