Which spelling vs. For the name vs. Genevieve?
Love the spelling and the name Genevieve. However, we also love the nickname Jenna / Genna for this name (how would you pronounce Genna?). Other spellings we are considering include Genavieve/Gennavieve, Jenevieve and Jenavieve/Jennavieve. PLEASE no rude comments on the spellings we have chosen. We’ve had many rude comments already, so we’re turning to Baby Name Genie for help. Thank you!

Coincidentally, I had the same issue before. I love Jenna and Genevieve, and thought about using Jennavieve, Jenevieve and even Jennavyv. My vote would be Jenevieve or Jenavieve. GL!

Thanks posters four and five for your input! :)... We love the way Genevieve looks, and the nickname Genna! We have decided to go with this spelling.

I think if you use the original spelling of Genevieve and people know her name before her nickname, Genna is perfectly acceptable.
