I don’t think you should name your kid Oaklen or Oaklan. Try something classic!

All I could find is that it’s a boys name that is very unusual. seems to have been used a few times in the UK and doesn’t seem to have any meaning.

It is a made up name so it has no meaning.

It sounds like a mispelling of Oakland which isn’t the nicest city. Oakland simply means land of oaks.

I would think it means the same as Oakland which means the land of oaks.
It seems masculine to me.

I agree, that it’s derived from Oakland. I wouldn’t use it, but if I did, I’d only consider it for a boy.

I would also think that it’s "land of oaks". You might look up the symbolism of oak trees for more meaning.
It’s a handsome name, imo. Definitely masculine.

Hi, my name is Oaklan. I am a British female and my name means - one that is strong, a survivor in difficult terrains, a protector. Its a British name from the Oak tree and has nothing to do with Oakland. Ive always had positive feedback from my name and comments on how nice it is. I think Oaken is the male version
