Bea/Bee as a nickname for Elizabeth vs. could work vs. wouldn’t work

Hi, we have a bit of a dilemma - I like Beatrice for our daughter as I like the nickname Bea but he likes Elizabeth. I got to choose our son’s name, so he’d like to choose our daughter’s - could Bee or Bea be a nickname for Elizabeth? Or is that too big a stretch?

Bea might be a stretch but you could get away with Bee.

What about using Beatrice as her middle name Elizabeth Beatrice(nn Bea/Bee)?

But I do think you could give her whatever nn you’d like regardless of what her name is.

My name is Elizabeth and I’ve gone by Bea my whole life! It’s just a little annoying from time to time to explain to people why I go by Bea, which isn’t a typical Elizabeth nickname
