please help vs. Daviny? vs. Daveny?

Day-vuh-nee . I have loved this name since I first seen the Movie the Notebook. She is Noah and Allie’s grandaughter. I can’t find the spelling. Anyone have any Idea how to spell it. I’m expecting a girl in a few months, and would love to name her this.

According to The Notebook’s cast list, her name is spelled Davanee. Such a pretty name!

I think the spelling Davenie is darling and shouldn’t get mispronounced. You might have to spell it once in a while, but that would be the case no matter how you spelled it. Davenie gets my vote. Oh, and I would give it a super girly middle name, just so no one thinks it is a boy. Davenie Grace, Davenie Claire, Davenie Brooke, etc...GL!

I have loved this name since I saw The Notebook...wow nobody I know has heard this name. I love the spelling Davany!

I named my daughter after this as well, I spell it Daviny and her middle name is Lynn just like mine..... Her nickname with my family is Nene ;)..... I do get it pronounced wrong but I just correct it.....

In the movie, it’s spelled Davanee - but anyway you spell it it’s a beautiful name.
