Rally / Rallie vs. good vs. bad

My husband and I tend to be drawn to more unique names. This is our first child, a girl, and we are in love with the name Rally/Rallie. What do you think? Too weird, or just weird enough? Which spelling is better, and do you have any ideas for middle names? Maybe something more feminine sounding? Thanks

This is not a name at all, find something more suitable for a person. Rally is a verb meaning that troops) come together again in order to continue fighting after a defeat or dispersion i.e. troops rallied and drove back the infantry. Of course it’s also a simple noun: a mass meeting. Either way it’s not a name, certainly not for a baby girl.

Raylee (or alternate spelling) would be much preferred to Rally.

I just think it sounds trendy. Like you traded an R for the very popular Callie. I also think of pep rally.

I think Rally is fine. You might also like Raleigh, Rollins, Rawlins.
