I have a second cousin whose middle name is Diane after her Grandmother (My Great Uncles ex wife.) Would it be weird to use Diana as a middle name for a girl? I am not related by blood to this "Diane" but she is the mother of my two second cousins and grandma to other third cousins as well. I don’t want any negative associations with her. Thanks!

Do you ever see this woman? would it cause issues in the family honestly is sounds like this is a very far off type relative and it shouldn’t matter.

I’m not related to her, no. She is my Great Uncle’s Ex wife. His granddaughter is named "Blank" Diane. His two children my second cousins are the kids of Diane. I don’t think it will cause issues just people saying, "Did you know Diane is the name of your Great Uncles EX and A’s middle name is Diane?"
